Pat Buddemeyer 3/09/2019 7:08 PMI got outside today and worked on the compost -- gathered up leaves and added horse manure to the bin. Watered the garlic I planted late in the fall. Three cloves have sprouted. Yay!

Pat Buddemeyer 3/05/2019 7:23 PMTend a garden? REALLY? The wind chill tomorrow morning is supposed to be -10!
I searched all day for the plan I made, of what vegetables and herbs to plant and the flower pairings to attract pollinators and provide added beauty. In the past, I haven't grown as many flowers as I'm planning this year. They were mostly an afterthought.
Hoping for Spring soon ...-

Pat Buddemeyer 3/02/2019 8:45 PMOrdered the cow pots for starting my garden seedlings today. I'm really looking forward to weather that will allow me to work outside; for now, will have to settle for getting everything ready. I'm looking through catalogs, and laying out the plan for a new garden in the back yard.
