Kirsi Jansa
"I am a mother, wife, friend, sister, storyteller and in love with our Earth. Active Hope is my practice and my remedy. "Active Hope is a practice. Like tai chi or gardening, it is something we do rather than have. It is a process we can apply to any situation, and it involves three key steps. First, we take in a clear view of reality; second, we identify what we hope for in terms of the direction we’d like things to move in or the values we’d like to see expressed; and third, we take steps to move ourselves or our situation in that direction.” Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone (more information here: https://www.activehope.info)"

Kirsi Jansa 3/14/2019 3:24 PMCheck this out - a new short video of us solar hawks, with Fred Kraybill and Ian Smith. Join this sunny movement and help us and Solar United Neighbors and PA Solar Center bring community solar to Pennsylvania!
"Pennsylvania solar supporters care about their local economy, their health and the future that they're building for their children. Learn more about why they're working to expand community solar options and clean energy opportunity in the Keystone State. If you agree that everyone should have the chance to go solar and benefit from our nation's growing clean energy economy, join the movement here: votesolar.org/about-us/join-vote-solar/"

Kirsi Jansa 3/05/2019 8:10 PMI am spending time outside and practicing gratitude but my social media challenge is not going so well... There is so much happening on the climate news frontier. Like this one (see the link) - for heavens. Based on our experience shopping for an EV we can tell from first-hand experience that EVs are definitely still in the early stages of adoption. We have to drive to Baltimore to get our EV as we were not able to get the one we ended up choosing from car dealers. https://www.eenews.net/stories/1060122979?fbclid=IwAR1iUvCvUSSoEiWHOAh9GjedRaDFEaqvHgPxiY_XY8tvQfplCcFCaHYNW2s -
