More Fruits and Veggies
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 1 cups of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.
Waste
Needs vs. Wants
I will adopt a 'Needs Vs. Wants' approach and only buy things I need.

Practice Gratitude for Earth
I will spend 5 minute(s) per day outside, practicing gratitude (prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.) for Earth and the nature surrounding me.
Participant Feed
Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.
To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

Jodie Banyas 3/17/2019 5:58 AMMy husband and I went to the outlets yesterday, and, for this visit, I created a list of what the family "needed." By keeping to this list, our trip remained focused on the "needs" and avoided purchasing "wants." This approach made our trip more efficient, more budget friendly, and more environmentally friendly. -
Jodie Banyas 3/16/2019 6:03 AMAshley,
Thank you for organizing this ecoteam. This opportunity has helped me to thoughtfully and intentionally adjust my environmental behaviors. I also enjoyed reading and learning from others' posts.
Thanks!-
Ashley Krenn 3/18/2019 6:27 AMI am glad you decided to join, Jodie!

Jodie Banyas 3/13/2019 12:01 PMMy family likes the single serving appeal of the Keurig, but I'm not a fan of the plastic single serving K-cups. Therefore, I purchased the reusable inserts for the Keurig, so everyone can still create their own single serving of cocoa or coffee, but without the waste.
