Joanna Cameron 3/20/2019 4:40 PMAs the challenge comes to a close, I am incredibly thankful to have been a part of it. I am working toward a mostly plant-based diet and and have made multiple changes to the house and yard. I'm hoping that there is another challenge during warmer months so I can tackle more challenges! -

Joanna Cameron 3/17/2019 2:17 PMWent to Giant Eagle today with my new re-useable produce bags. It caused quite a stir, and other people asked where I got them from. They were also so much easier to use! -
Joanna Cameron 3/14/2019 4:40 PMSo many things to do outside in this amazing weather! I wish I could check off all of the nature challenges at once. -

Joanna Cameron 3/10/2019 3:42 PMWe went to see the Bald Eagle nest today in North Park. Loved experiencing nature in all its glory. The story of the bald eagle is a true ecological success story. -
Joanna Cameron 3/09/2019 8:52 PMI was happy to be grabbing a scoop a Millie's today and see that I was supporting a sustainable restaurant. -
Joanna Cameron 3/07/2019 7:43 PMStarted using bar shampoo instead of liquid shampoo in order to reduce my plastic use. Advice: If you try this, initially rinse your hair with a baking soda solution to combat the effects of hard water on your hair. Otherwise your hair turns out sticky and waxy feeling. -
Joanna Cameron 3/07/2019 7:10 PMJust booked a flight, and was pleased to see that United has a carbon offset program. It was so easy! Another one-time challenge checked off the list! -
Joanna Cameron 3/05/2019 6:30 PMEating vegetarian/vegan has been a fun challenge for me, and is something that I really can see myself sticking with. I made vegetarian Shepard's pie (it used a bit of dairy) tonight and it was absolutely delicious. I didn't even miss the meat. It's a slow change to going plant-based, but I'm finding that it helps both my body and my mind.
